The Lincoln Collective is located in the heart of the Lincoln District of Tacoma, WA. I watched as the building was transformed from an eye sore to having some of the best curb appeal on M street! We are a collective of small businesses operating under one roof. My private suite offers a spacious and comfortable atmosphere where clients can expect to feel pampered and truly relaxed. As the sole owner and stylist of the salon, you'll be the center of all my attention!

Once upon a time...
I wanted to be someone who carried around a briefcase and wore a power suit, drove around a fast and fancy car, and used my big brain for important work. As I struggled to afford college and found myself in a dizzying back and forth between majors, that vision of myself began to fade. As a last-ditch effort to secure a decent paying job as a means to further my education I decided to pursue a cosmetology license.
And in a shocking twist, I fell in love with doing hair. It challenged me to be social, it brought me closer to the divinely feminine side of myself, it required constant learning through the variability of experience, and for the first time in my life, I felt like I had something authentic to offer the world. One head of hair at a time I began a journey of finding self-love and healing, as well as sharing those discoveries with my guests.
Now, 10 years and counting, I am still working passionately behind the chair. My scissors and color brushes do not cure cancer, or bring loved ones back from the Beyond or solve global warming or prevent political and economic collapse or make beauty standards any less unobtainable, but... I can provide a safe place to let your guard down, bring you a glass of wine, and hold space for you to share your story and hopefully laugh a little about the absurdity of this life.
Whether you believe it or not, I assure you that regardless of your face shape, body type, fine or thick or thinning hair, wrinkles or grays, you are beautiful. Because true beauty is love, generosity, and a good sense of humor.
